Dr. Silke Gottschlich to become Vice President of Global HR at Jenoptik
The experienced manager comes from Infineon Dresden and will assume global responsibility of human resources at Jenoptik.
Dr. Silke Gottschlich brings many years of experience in strategic and operational human resources management in the semiconductor industry. Since 2012, she has served as Senior Director of Human Resources at Infineon Technologies Dresden.
“For me, Human Resources is closely tied to the business. For a company to achieve sustainable success, it needs leadership that provides support, development that opens doors, and guidance in times of change. To me, performance and humanity go hand in hand. Working together to shape the corporate culture and drive the necessary transformations in an era of continuous change is both a challenge and a source of motivation for me,” said Silke Gottschlich.
After studying law at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, Silke Gottschlich completed her legal training in 1996 at the Dresden Higher Regional Court by passing the second state examination. After holding several positions abroad, she earned her doctorate in European labor law at the University of Potsdam and obtained additional qualifications as a business mediator. She has been working in the semiconductor industry since 1998, first at Siemens Semiconductors and later at Infineon Technologies Dresden. There, she held various HR roles, including HR Business Partner and Senior Manager of Labor Relations.
“HR plays a central role in a company’s success, because everything we achieve is achieved by our employees,” said Dr. Dominic Dorfner, who has been CEO of JENOPTIK AG since August 2026. “With her dedication and many years of experience, Silke Gottschlich will be an important partner in Jenoptik’s continued development.”
Dr. Silke Gottschlich succeeds Olaf Drillisch-Saathoff, who has moved on to new professional challenges and left Jenoptik at the end of August 2026.
