JENOPTIK AG’s Annual General Meeting approves a higher dividend and the election/re-election of three Supervisory Board members
Around 300 Jenoptik shareholders, representing just under 60 percent of the share capital, attended the shareholder meeting of JENOPTIK AG held on June 9, 2026, at the Volkshaus in Jena. All items on the agenda were approved by a clear majority.
The Annual General Meeting confirmed the dividend of 0.40 euros (previous year: 0.38 euros) per share proposed by the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.
In addition, three shareholder representatives on the Supervisory Board were up for re-election or election by the shareholders. The candidates proposed by the management were confirmed by a large majority each: Andreas Krey, who had been a court-appointed member of the Supervisory Board since March 2026 following the resignation of Matthias Wierlacher, and Dr Frank Stietz, who succeeds Professor Dr Ursula Keller, were newly elected as shareholder representatives. In addition, Thomas Spitzenpfeil, who has been a member of the board since 2022 and, as Chairman of the Audit and ESG Committee, is one of the financial experts on the Supervisory Board, was re-elected by the Annual General Meeting for a four-year term.
Andreas Krey, a native of Thuringia, has served as spokesperson of the executive management of Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen for many years and brings to the supervisory board expertise in the areas of management, corporate governance, and finance and business administration. He also contributes expertise in portfolio management as well as specific industrial and sectoral experience. Andreas Krey was elected as a shareholder representative for a three-year term.
Dr. Frank Stietz possesses extensive international management experience based on his position as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Heraeus Group, as well as expertise in areas including finance and technology. He also has many years of operational expertise and specific industry and sector experience. In accordance with the proposal of the Supervisory Board, Dr Frank Stietz was elected by the Annual General Meeting for a term of two years.
Professor Dr Ursula Keller stepped down from the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG at the end of this year’s Annual General Meeting, having served on the Board since 2022. Supervisory Board Chair Daniela Mattheus thanked her on behalf of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board for her service and valuable contribution, during which the Jenoptik Group further developed into a global photonics company.
In addition to the election of the Supervisory Board, the agenda included other items for voting at the Annual General Meeting of JENOPTIK AG. The Annual General Meeting approved all items by a large majority.
