Jenoptik announces new international representation on the Executive Management Board
With more internationalization as a focus in its Strategy 2022, Jenoptik brings more global diversity to the EMB with the appointment of three new members.
Jenoptik, one of the global industry leaders in photonics, announces the appointment of three international executives to the Executive Management Board:
- Albert Miranda, President Jenoptik North America, based in Jupiter, Florida;
- Kevin Chevis, Head of the Traffic Solutions division and Director of the division’s subsidiary in Frimley, UK;
- Jonathan Qu as President Jenoptik Asia, headquartered in Shanghai, China.
“Being international isn’t only a question of being present in main regions, but also of operating internationally. It is important to us to promote intercultural exchange and local decisions. As a starting point, we adapt our management structures”, says Stefan Traeger, President & CEO of Jenoptik.
The focus will be on developing a corporate culture that drives more innovation and internationalization. Jenoptik will establish or expand local R&D teams and production facilities in all major markets. In addition, at least one division will be headquartered outside Germany until 2022.
“More Light” – the motto of the Jenoptik Strategy 2022 represents the strength and basis of Jenoptik’s core competencies: photonic technologies. Photonic technologies affect almost all areas of our society. The global photonics market is estimated to reach a volume of around over 600 billion dollars and is growing twice as fast as total global economic output. “These facts are good preconditions for our future growth”, says Stefan Traeger.
